Kabul es la capital de Afganistán, tendida en un valle a unos 1.790 m de altitud entre las montañas del Hindú Kush, con el río Kabul cruzándola. Es una ciudad muy antigua y estratégica en la ruta entre Asia Central y el subcontinente indio. Desde 2021 está bajo control de los talibanes, y la mayoría de gobiernos desaconsejan totalmente el viaje por motivos de seguridad. It's a very old, strategic city on the route between Central Asia and the Indian subcontinent. Since 2021 it has been under Taliban control, and most governments advise strongly against all travel for security reasons. This is not a conventional tourist destination: here we choose honesty over postcards.
