Dimāpur

Dimapur es la ciudad más grande de Nagaland y, en la práctica, la puerta de entrada al estado: aquí está el único aeropuerto y la única gran estación de tren, en la llanura junto al río Dhansiri, pegada a la frontera con Assam. Unlike Nagaland's hill country, Dimapur is low, hot and humid, a trading crossroads where many Naga tribes mix. If you're heading to Kohima or the mountain villages, you'll almost certainly pass through here first.
