Bihār Sharīf es una ciudad del estado de Bihar, en el este de India, capital del distrito de Nalanda. Later it became a Sufi center, and its landmark is the shrine of Makhdum Shah Sharfuddin on Pir Pahari hill. It's a hot, devout lowland city, a good base for the Buddhist circuit.
