Es una ciudad de industria textil, del cuero y del azúcar, poco turística pero con historia real.Uşak is an inland Aegean city in western Turkey, famous for centuries for its carpets: Uşak rugs hang in museums worldwide. It has a continental climate (cold winters, hot dry summers) thanks to its altitude away from the coast. Its museum holds the Karun Treasure (the Lydian Hoard), a celebrated set of gold pieces from the Lydian era. Just outside town opens the Ulubey Canyon, one of the longest in the world. It is a city of textiles, leather and sugar, little touristed but with genuine history.
