Türkiye SÍ tiene una vía de nómada digital, lanzada en 2024, pero no es un tipo de visa aparte: pides online un Certificado de Identificación de Nómada Digital al Ministerio de Cultura y Turismo, y ese certificado te abre la puerta a un visado o, más habitualmente, a un permiso de residencia de corta duración (kısa dönem ikamet) que emite la Presidencia de Gestión Migratoria. La letra chica que casi nadie menciona: el certificado está limitado a nacionales de una lista corta de países — sobre todo UE/EEE, Reino Unido, EE.UU., Canadá, Japón, Corea del Sur, Rusia y Ucrania — con edad de ≈ 21 a 55 años, título universitario y ≈ USD 3.000 al mes de ingreso remoto. The catch nobody mentions is that the certificate is limited to nationals of a short list of countries — mostly EU/EEA, the UK, the US, Canada, Japan, South Korea, Russia and Ukraine — with an age range of roughly 21 to 55, a university degree and around USD 3,000 a month in remote income. If your passport is not on that list, there is no special nomad permit for you: you go through the ordinary short-term residence permit, which is the same document, just requested on other grounds and under tighter scrutiny since 2022.

Lo que cambia según tu pasaporte son tres cosas. Primero, la elegibilidad: el Certificado de Nómada Digital está abierto solo a nacionales de una lista limitada de países (se ha descrito como de unas tres decenas — en esencia UE/EEE, Reino Unido, EE.UU., Canadá, Japón, Corea del Sur, Rusia y Ucrania, entre otros). La mayoría de pasaportes latinoamericanos no aparecen en esa lista, así que revisa la lista vigente en el portal oficial antes de montar un plan alrededor del certificado. If you cannot get the nomad certificate you are not blocked: you apply for the same short-term permit on other grounds — but be aware that tourist-purpose applications have been scrutinised much more tightly since 2022 and that many neighbourhoods are closed to new foreign registrations.

Your documents travel with a Hague Apostille (Mexico is a member) and then a sworn Turkish translation notarized in Türkiye. A Mexico–Türkiye double-taxation treaty exists, useful if you end up tax resident; confirm its status with your accountant.

It is the cleanest scenario: get the certificate online, enter without a visa, apply for the ikamet inside Türkiye. University degree apostilled in Spain by the competent body. Spain and Türkiye have a double-taxation treaty, relevant once you pass 183 days.

Dos avisos concretos: prepara extractos bancarios que se lean bien en USD o EUR (los importes en pesos con inflación complican la lectura del funcionario) y NO asumas que hay convenio de doble imposición Argentina–Türkiye vigente; no me consta que lo esté, verifícalo antes de planear nada fiscal.Visa-free entry for around 90 days (confirm before flying). Colombia is not, to my knowledge, on the digital nomad certificate list: go via the ordinary short-term permit. Apostille from the Colombian foreign ministry for the degree and other civil documents, then a sworn Turkish translation before a notary. If your income comes from US or European clients, show it with invoices and stamped bank statements, not screenshots from payment platforms.

Si tu pasaporte necesita visado para Türkiye, pide cita en el consulado turco con el certificado y solicita el visado que te indiquen. Si tu pasaporte entra sin visa o con e-Visa (caso de la mayoría de europeos y de varios latinoamericanos), no hace falta consulado: entras y tramitas dentro del país.
