Floridsdorf es el distrito 21 de Viena, en la orilla izquierda (norte) del Danubio. It isn't a separate city but one of the Austrian capital's large districts: mostly residential, a mix of housing blocks, industry and green space. To the south it meets the Danube and the Donauinsel, the long river island where the Viennese run and swim in summer. To the north rise the Bisamberg hills and the wine villages of Stammersdorf and Strebersdorf, with their Heurigen, the taverns serving the local new wine.
