That makes it a key stop on China's political-history tourism circuit. Around it, Guizhou offers green karst scenery, deep river gorges and a humid, temperate climate. The region is also the heart of Chinese baijiu: the famous Moutai liquor is distilled in Renhuai, very close to the city.
