Its big draw is Autostadt, VW's vast automobile theme park beside the plant, with the glass towers where new cars are delivered. There's also Phaeno, an interactive science center in a Zaha Hadid building, and VfL Wolfsburg, its Bundesliga football club. An orderly, industrial and very German city — more for a focused visit than a long stay.
