Sants-Montjuïc (Barcelona)

Sants-Montjuïc es uno de los diez distritos de Barcelona, en el suroeste de la ciudad. Es enorme y muy variado: incluye la montaña de Montjuïc —con sus museos, jardines y las instalaciones olímpicas de 1992— el barrio popular de Sants en torno a su gran estación de trenes, el bohemio Poble-sec al pie de la montaña, y el recinto ferial junto a la Plaça d'Espanya. Aquí están la Fundació Joan Miró, el MNAC en el Palau Nacional y la Font Màgica. No es un destino aparte sino una gran parte de Barcelona con montaña, cultura y vida de barrio auténtica.Sants-Montjuïc is one of Barcelona's ten districts, in the city's southwest. It's huge and varied: it takes in the hill of Montjuïc —with its museums, gardens and 1992 Olympic venues— the working-class Sants neighborhood around its big train station, bohemian Poble-sec at the foot of the hill, and the trade-fair grounds by Plaça d'Espanya. Here you'll find the Joan Miró Foundation, the MNAC in the Palau Nacional and the Magic Fountain. It's not a separate destination but a large slice of Barcelona with a hill, culture and genuine neighborhood life.
