It's flat, sea-level land protected by dykes, and it's home to Vancouver International Airport (YVR). Its defining trait is its huge Asian, especially Chinese, community: Richmond is famous for arguably the best Chinese food in North America, with malls like Aberdeen Centre and a very popular night market. At its southern edge sits Steveston, a historic fishing village.
