Es un destino tranquilo, verde y distinto al resto del país.Lankaran sits at the far south of Azerbaijan, on the Caspian coast and very close to the Iranian border. It's the main city of the Talysh region and surprises you with its climate: humid and subtropical, unusual in the Caucasus, which lets tea and citrus grow. Around it survive the Hyrcanian forests, relics of the Tertiary era and now protected, and the city keeps an old lighthouse-tower and the khan's house. It's a calm, green destination unlike the rest of the country.
