Dongxing es una ciudad de nivel de condado del sur de China, en la región autónoma de Guangxi, justo en la frontera con Vietnam. It sits on the coast of the Beibu Gulf (Gulf of Tonkin) and is one of the few places in China home to the Jing (Gin) ethnic group, of Vietnamese origin. The climate is subtropical, warm and humid, and the flavours and cultures of the two countries blend here.
