Bergedorf

Bergedorf es el más sureste de los siete distritos de Hamburgo, así que aunque figura como "ciudad" es en realidad un barrio-distrito de la metrópolis alemana, conectado al centro por la línea S-Bahn. Aquí Hamburgo deja de ser puerto y se vuelve verde: el río Bille cruza el casco antiguo y hacia el sur se abren las Vier- und Marschlande, tierras de marisma ganadas al agua donde se cultivan flores y hortalizas para toda la ciudad. Su seña es el Bergedorfer Schloss, el único castillo conservado dentro de los límites de Hamburgo.Bergedorf is the southeasternmost of Hamburg's seven boroughs, so although it's listed as a "city" it's really a district of the German metropolis, linked to the centre by the S-Bahn. This is where Hamburg stops being a port and turns green: the river Bille runs through the old core, and to the south stretch the Vier- und Marschlande, reclaimed marshlands that grow flowers and vegetables for the whole city. Its landmark is the Bergedorfer Schloss, the only surviving castle within Hamburg's boundaries.
