It's the valley's largest city: farmland of blueberries, dairy and nurseries, with the snowbound bulk of Mount Baker (across in the US) dominating the southern skyline. It has a strong Indo-Canadian Sikh community that shapes its food and culture. Each summer it hosts the Abbotsford International Airshow, one of North America's largest. Vancouver is just over an hour to the west.
