It holds much of the metro area's hotels, restaurants, art galleries and nightlife, plus embassies and NGO offices. Its heart is Place Saint-Pierre, with its church. Thanks to its altitude it enjoys a milder climate, and from it the roads climb toward Kenscoff and the mountains.
