No es un destino turístico, sino una ciudad de trabajo, calurosa y tropical, en la llanura caribeña del norte hondureño, cerca de la costa y de la logística portuaria del país.Choloma is one of Honduras's largest cities, in the department of Cortés, within the Sula Valley industrial corridor between San Pedro Sula and Puerto Cortés. Its economy revolves around the maquila: huge textile and assembly industrial parks that draw workers from across the country, which has made the city grow very fast. It isn't a tourist destination but a working city, hot and tropical, on the northern Honduran Caribbean plain, close to the coast and the country's port logistics.
